CAESAR SALAD BARRY JOHN SAUSAGE STYLE
Our delicious Leek, Mozzarella and Black Pepper Sausages are a tasty alternative to bacon / chicken Caesar salad
Preparation time: 20-30 minutes / Cooking time: 10-15 minutes / Difficulty: easy / Serves: 4-6
500g Leek, Mozzarella & Black Pepper Barry John Sausages
1 head of Romaine/Cos lettuce, leaves separated
1 small punnet of cherry tomatoes
4 scallions chopped finely
125/250ml of Caesar dressing
Tear the lettuce into pieces and place into a serving bowl, chop up the cherry tomatoes into halves and toss into the lettuce, add the finely chopped scallions and croutons and mix all together. Set aside in the fridge while you cook off the sausages.
Cook the Leek, Mozzarella & Black Pepper Sausages until golden brown and piping hot in the centre. Cook on a frying pan / in an oven or deep fry. When cooked, chop them up into bite size pieces.
Remove the prepared salad from the fridge, toss in the chopped sausage pieces, drizzle with Caesar dressing and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve with crispy baguette.
